Kelly and Mitch were in Athens today because her dad had triple bypass surgery. Thankfully things went well and now he will begin to heal! After a very long day at the hospital the Thompson/Davis crew decided to enjoy burgers and beer at Allen's. Rick, Patrick and I joined them and Patrick was falling all over the place by the end of the night! Ahhhh....and the tradition continues!

We had so much fun staying with Kelly & Mitch for the Clarke Central/Tennessee game. It's a shame that UGA decided to send a high school team to play. If the dawgs had actually shown up it probably would have been a better game and we may not have left at the half. Any who...the Bloody Mary's were fabulous, the company was awesome and other than a little "almost" scuffle in the parking lot at 8 in the morning and the game (of course!), the weekend was a success! Thank you Kelly & Mitch!

Our star sighting of the weekend was once again, Andre 3000! He was about 6 rows in front of us! The picture of the back of a baseball cap is him. As we were leaving (at the half) we saw him again in the walkway. Rick tried to get his picture, but he is not a fan of the paparazzi. Can you blame him?!

The highlight of the game was leaving and knowing that even as sad and pathetic as our little puppies played, we were not going to wake up in the morning with orange tip acrylic nails....

My God, rednecks really do turn orange in the fall!

Happy 2nd Birthday Patrick!

Patrick turned 2 on Friday, October 5th! We celebrated his birthday on the Wednesday before with all the cousins, Harper, Gabriel, Lukas and Meg. Grammie, Gigi, Papa, Uncle Ed, Aunt Chris, Uncle Paul and Aunt Claire were also there. Big Daddy was sick and Uncle Kevin had to work and we sure did miss them! The theme was "Curious George and it really was fun! Other than Pizza Hut delivering supper two hours late! (I guess that's what we get for living waaaaaayyyyyy out in Bishop! Ugh!)
