Ho!Ho!Ho!

Tonight we went to Atlanta to see Santa Claus at Phipps Plaza. We were worried Patrick might be a little scared, but much to our delight he didn't even cry! Our appointment was at 7:45 and since we were got there a little after 7 (yes, we were early! I know NONE of you can believe it!) we enjoyed a cheese burger, fries and onion rings from Johnny Rockets. Well Rick and I enjoyed it anyway, Patrick had a few bites of plain bread and some sweet tea. Hmmmm...is it ground hog day? Anyway, once it was finally Patrick's turn to see Santa, Rick just walked him up there and sat him in his lap! It was awesome! I couldn't believe he didn't cry!

P.S.
For those of you wondering tonight's photo count was 110.

Another day, another picture

I thought 5 children were hard to capture, but one 2 year old and one hyper 1 year old lab puppy might be more difficult....at least more frustrating! Anyway...today's photo count was 186. We wanted to go with a picture of both Patrick and Bailey and somehow we manged to get one. Trapping Bailey in the fort where the only way down was the slide didn't hurt either. Neither were actually looking at the camera, but it's still pretty cute. The other picture is the one I probably would have sent as our Christmas card, but Rick insisted Bailey should be in it too and he is probably right! I have to let him win every once in awhile, right?

P.S.
Bailey did finally get out of the fort and she had fun sliding the whole way down!

And the winner is...

(L-R) Lukas (2 1/2), Gabriel (4 1/2), Patrick (2), Harper (5) and Meg (18 months)

Try taking a "good" picture of 5 cousins. Four boys and one girl all ranging from 18 months to 5 years old. It's quite an adventure! I took, count them, 277 (yes, 2-7-7) pictures all for one "perfect" picture to put on a Christmas card. Grammie had to settle for 4 happy boys and one not-so-happy little girl. It was something else and I sure am happy we only send out cards once a year! The first picture is the one Grammie and Big Daddy will be sending out. The others I just had to post for a good laugh!
